SWEETCAKES POLICIES

Please review the following terms carefully. These policies help ensure that every SweetCakes order, design, delivery, and setup is handled smoothly and with care.

SweetCakes reserves the right to change and modify design and design elements if needed due to seasonal availability, esthetics and creative rights. Pictures are for concept only, not exact product or design.
Design estimate includes all rentals, products, delivery and setup. Florist to supply any florals used on the dessert display (including the cake). Linens and cake knife/server supplied by client/wedding team.
Please keep in mind that Florida’s weather can significantly impact buttercream designs. The heat, humidity, and travel time, along with the intricacy of the design, can affect how long the decoration remains stable outside of refrigeration. To maintain the integrity of SweetCakes’ organic at work, we recommend minimizing exposure to these conditions.
Please note that SweetCakes requires up to one hour for cake setup and up to an hour and a half for setting up a complete cake and dessert display. We kindly ask for uninterrupted time and space during this process to ensure a smooth setup, while also staying mindful not to interfere with the photographer or other activities.

Once this contract is signed, your event date is secured and dedicated time is allocated for the design, production, and execution of your order. Please note that cancellations are not permitted.

Should you wish to request additional items or make modifications after the contract is signed, you’re welcome to reach out to discuss whether accommodations can be made.
Your design fee includes one round of revisions. Any additional requests for contract changes or design updates beyond the included revision will incur a minimum revision fee of $50 per update, due at the time the change is requested. Multiple changes requested at different times will be considered separate revisions. A revision includes, but is not limited to, changes to design details, structure, size, flavors, delivery logistics, or décor elements.
Changes to Event Date or Venue: Should Client request a change to the event date and/or venue after this Agreement has been executed, SweetCakes will make every reasonable effort to accommodate the requested change. However, all accommodations are subject to SweetCakes' availability and are not guaranteed.
If SweetCakes is unavailable on the requested new date or is otherwise unable to accommodate the requested changes, this Agreement shall remain in effect, and the remaining balance shall be due as originally contracted. The event date has been reserved exclusively for Client, and SweetCakes may have declined other orders for that date.
Approved changes to the event date and/or venue may require revisions to the design, production schedule, delivery logistics, setup requirements, or other services. Any additional costs incurred because of such changes, including but not limited to revised delivery fees, labor, administrative time, or supply costs, will be communicated to Client and must be approved before work proceeds.
SweetCakes reserves the right to assess reasonable fees associated with approved changes. A requested change to the event date or venue shall not be considered accepted until confirmed in writing by SweetCakes.

Allergy Notice: Our bakery handles ingredients such as nuts, gluten, dairy, and other common allergens. While we take precautions to avoid cross-contamination, our kitchen is not allergen-free. Please inform us of any allergies or dietary restrictions at the time of ordering.

Deposits are non-refundable and apply towards your cake total.
